The Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Toledo invites applications for a lecturer position beginning August 19, 2024. The successful candidate will have a background in Public Policy/Public Administration. A specialty in environmental policy is preferred. Teaching expectations include honors courses, environmental policy, graduate-level public policy courses based on their teaching and research experience, and/or general undergraduate education courses in political science as needed. Suitable candidates must be able to demonstrate strong teaching skills. Experience with Honors students is required. Experience in community outreach and engagement is a strong plus. The department currently has 9 full-time faculty members with approximately 94 undergraduate majors and 25 MPA students. The University of Toledo is a comprehensive public research university in Northwest Ohio. The Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers undergraduate and graduate degrees (BA, MPA).
