The College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota is seeking a clinical faculty/instructor to join our Master’s of Science Occupational Therapy Program that includes new academic curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, engaging diverse perspectives in occupational therapy and community partnerships through experiential and interprofessional education. The position is available immediately with a preferred June 2024 targeted start date.
This is a full-time 11-month position fully funded through 2028 as part of a US Department of Education, Mental Health Service Provider grant received by the College.

Responsibilities include teaching within the occupational therapy curriculum; advising to meet diverse student needs; assisting in recruitment and admission activities; and attending Department, School and College events. The successful candidate will contribute to work with diverse populations and will advance the Benedictine Values of the College.
Minimum requirement is an entry-level occupational therapy doctorate degree or a Master’s degree in occupational therapy with demonstration of evidence of experience or contributions to the occupational therapy profession, certifications or advanced educational pursuits.
Eligible for OT licensure in Minnesota
Experience working with rural and underserved populations or non-traditional/emerging settings of practice.
Experience serving and interacting with cultural humility in settings with diverse populations that reflects community, hospitality and respect.
Evidence of continuing education to support lived value of love of learning and professional occupational therapy practice.
Prior teaching experience in occupational therapy or other adult education.
Service to the profession and/or community.
Evidence of scholarship or evidence-based practice.
Demonstrated skills in use of technology and ability to adapt to new technologies
Minimum of one year clinical experience with three years preferred.
