: Intervention Teacher – 1.0 FTE Long-Term Substitute at Jefferson Elementary
Develops and implements classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for our students in the area of reading and math based upon data.
Serve as a member of the RtI team and work collaboratively with the RtI team to implements strategies, complete paperwork and/or interventions for Reading and Math.
Coordinate and implement appropriate interventions for FtI reading and Math.
Monitor student progress by examining and disaggregating data at points with team members.
Use data to assist with the revisions of interventions, assist with making decisions regarding future instructional strategies and in setting new goals.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Working knowledge of Response to Intervention and the problem-solving process.
Skills in listening, written and oral communications; data collections and recording methodologies; knowledge of quality teaching strategies in reading and/or mathematics, supporting and providing feedback to staff.
Education and Experience:
Licensed by MDE in Elementary Education required.
Elementary Education classroom teaching experience in both primary and intermediate classroom level required.
Master’s degree in Elementary Education and/or Reading License preferred, but not required.
This position commences with the 2023-24 School immediately upon hire until approximately January 8, 2024.
