The Marketing Area in the Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking non-tenure track faculty candidates at the rank of Lecturer or Senior Lecturer, starting in fall 2024. We welcome candidates from academia, business, and/or government sectors. We are targeting applicants with demonstrated expertise in digital marketing and related topics, however other applicants will be considered.
The Lecturer is a non-tenure-track faculty member who carries out special instructional functions such as basic skills instruction. The majority of a Lecturer’s job duties must include teaching.
The primary duties will be to teach and mentor students at the undergraduate levels, develop innovative curricula for new and existing Scheller programs, and provide service to the College, the Institute, and the marketing profession. Candidates should expect to teach six courses per year. All teaching assignments will be determined by the Area Coordinator of Marketing. The marketing group has a strong research focus on the intersection of marketing and technology. Preference will be given to candidates who are able to effectively interact with the faculty.
