Job Summary : Full-time, temporary, long-term substitute mathematics teaching position for approximately 12 weeks beginning in January 2024. Responsibilities include teaching five High School Mathematics sections (Geometry and Analytical Math) in accordance with department/school policies in effect at the time of hire.

Compensation : $175 daily rate of pay when school is in session.
Duties and Responsibilities :
The ability to create and or follow lesson plans
Provide a structured learning atmosphere
Maintain positive control of the classroom
Monitor student attendance and behavior
Possess the ability to develop positive working relationships with students, administrators and staff

Desired Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in mathematics with certification to teach secondary mathematics (EX endorsement) or directly related area
At least three years of teaching experience Be somewhat familiar with and committed to the mission of Jesuit education
Physical Working Conditions :
Job may require lifting light weight objects (1 to 10 pounds) with no repetitive bending or stooping. Occasionally lift average weight objects (10 to 20 pounds). Long periods of standing.
Working Environment :
Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a normal office with occasional exposure to objectionable conditions or variations such as those found in variable weather conditions or light industrial settings.
