Virtual Special Education Teacher Location: Remote (New Hampshire) Job Type: Full-time, School Year Contract Opportunity – Work from Home Pay: $40/Hour We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Virtual Special Education Teacher to join our team and provide exceptional educational support to students in the state of New Hampshire. As a Virtual Special Education Teacher, you will work remotely to deliver high-quality instruction, develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and collaborate with students, parents, and support staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment. Responsibilities:
Virtual Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective virtual instruction to students with special needs, utilizing a variety of teaching methods and resources.
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs): Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to the unique needs of each student, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ abilities, identify areas for improvement, and regularly monitor progress towards academic and developmental goals.
Collaboration: Work closely with other educators, support staff, and parents to create a collaborative and supportive educational environment. Participate in virtual meetings, conferences, and training sessions.
Differentiated Instruction: Tailor instructional strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities, providing accommodations and modifications as necessary.
Communication: Maintain open and regular communication with students, parents, and other stakeholders. Provide timely feedback on student progress and address any concerns or questions.
Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in special education, virtual instruction, and relevant technology. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Data Collection and Reporting: Collect and analyze data related to student performance and behavior, and prepare accurate and comprehensive progress reports for parents and school administration.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
Valid New Hampshire teaching certification in Special Education.
Experience in virtual or remote teaching environments.
Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using virtual learning platforms and educational technology.
